Dota: Zeus

By Volty

The Lord of Olympia was once an immortal god, but he sacrificed most of his powers so that he may fight against the scourge forces. The thunder god still has enough powers to be of great use during the Defense of the Ancients, and still has his control over Lightning. Even though he is no longer a god, Zeus can smite anyone... anywhere... with electric bolts should he deem them worthy. He's also a master of electrical discharges, which damage everyone who dares go near him once he is in a battle frenzy. These have an effect on even the sturdiest of heroes, reducing their bodily might into something much more managable. The scourge cower in fear of Zeus, even with the Lich King leading them and his near-limitless power.

Lord of Olympus skills

The dota Zeus hero is extremely fragile, but just as potent. His abilities can hit anyone on the map, or near him at a great range. He's also useful at all stages of the game as his spells reduce current health instead of just doing small bits of damage.

Arc Lightning: An electric bolt that hurls through many targets in a chain. It's not very potent, but the spell is great for harrassing targets or getting many creep kills at once.

Lightning Bolt: The dota Zeus character calls down electricity from the sky. It always hits the intended target with full force damage. This spell has a very low cooldown, allowing it to be used several times during a lengthy battle.

Static Field: The Lord of Olympia himself becomes a conduit for electricty. Anyone near him (on the Scourge side) will be damaged for a portion of their health every time he casts a spell, hurling it's energy discharge around the dota battlefield. Static field will reveal any nearby invisible units if he casts a spell.

Thundergod's Wrath: The ultimate ability of Zeus. With a portion of his remaining Godhood, he can call down a wave of lightning that strikes every single enemy hero. It's amazing for finishing off anyone who might run, as a retribution strike, or to aid with any team battles. This ability also reveals the map.
