Dota: Slithice

Considered a vagabond among the Naga race, she wanders towards trouble whenever she gets bored. This has led to some extremely dangerous situations. The siren once travelled with Illidan's band to destroy the Lich King and the death knight Arthas once and for all following the Reign of Chaos. Unfortunately... what she witnessed was the destructions of Illidan's forces and most of the other naga who traveled with her. She vowed revenge and returned to the sea. Now the undead have risen again, and threaten her former sisters, the night elves. Slithice the DOTA Naga Siren rose up from the depths, ready to return the undead to their graves and more powerful than she was last time they fought.

A popular and powerful agility hero in the right hands. While she doesn't quite have the damage potential of the strongest characters, Slithice is fairly hardy on her own. She's a great support character as well as DPS. She also has arguably the best escape mechanism for any hero... able to shut down an entire Dota teams for seconds. This time can be used for everyone to flee, or cause irrepairable damage to the structures sleeping guardians were trying to protect.

Ensnare: Slithice calls forth a magical net, which binds the target to the spot. They can't move. They can't cast most spells. They can't escape. They can only wait, and watch the naga coming to destroy them. Even creatures who are immune to magic fall victim to the immobilizing nets of ensnaring.

Mirror Image: The naga siren is able to create several copies of herself using the magic of the sea. They do a minor amount of damage compared to her, and also take much more damage than Slithice would. This makes them noticable during a battle if anyone pays attention trying to find the real naga. Unfortunately, they're often already dead by then or too weakened to fight them off.

Critical Strike: All slices by the giant blade carried by Slithice do extra damage occasionally. It's only a small bonus, and most players tend to take this ability later in a Defense of the Ancients match.

Song of the Siren. The Dota Slithice hero ultimate ability. She sings an alluring song, tempting any who listen to fall into a deep slumber. They awaken moments later... the naga siren is nowhere in sight, and neither is whoever they were trying to kill or some of their buildings. Unlucky enemies will find themselves surrounded by images of Slithice. These naga siren clones pounce on them as soon as they awaken.
