Dota: Rotund'jere
62He once walked the living, until he was caught by paladins led by Uther Lightbringer and burnt at the stake. They considered him a necromancer, raising the dead for his own nefarious purposes. Death only brought more power to Rotund'jere, who used it for revenge against the paladins and brought several to their graves. Reborn as a Necrolyte, his mastery over death has greatly improved, and he can now use it's powers to refresh himself. He grows more powerful every time a living creature dies to his magic and can send evil spirits at any who stand in his path. The necrolyte slays any weaklings he comes across, always with a large grin on his dead skull.
Necrolyte's skills
A popular hero with many Dota players. His abilities excel in doing area of effect damage and amplifying any already done to a character. He doesn't have much for nukes himself against full power foes however. The necrolyte works best during group fights, helping pick off whoever is taking the blows of any of his allies.
Sadist: Rotundjere gains extra mana each time he kills a creature. This is generally only a small effect, and an ability usually learned later in the necromancer's unlife.
Heartstopper Aura: Simply being around the Necrolyte can have an adverse effect on his enemies. Rotund'jere stills their hearts with the deathly air around him. Anyone caught in this aura will find their health slowly dwindling down over time. Note: It doesn't count towards giving him any assists in hero kills.
Reaper's Scythe: The Dota Necrolyte ultimate ability. It is said that he stole his weapon from Death itself, the Grim Reaper, during his visit to the underworld. He brings anyone to realize their own mortality simply by scraping it's handle across the ground while thinking of them. They take a large amount of damage for any health they're already missing, and stop in their tracks for a second or two under it's grim effect.
Death Pulse: A wave of death is released from the core of Rotund'jere. This deals damage to any enemies that might be walking close enough to feel it's force. Any allies, however, are healed by a refreshing force of life it also releases... perhaps energy stolen from past victims. Not a single scourge hero is bothered thinking of the source of this extra vitality. Not even those of the Nerubian spider race, or mercenaries who were bought to fight in the Lich King's name.
