Dota: Pugna

This skeletal mage was forcefully raised as an undead by the forces of the lich king. The oblivion is only a shadow of himself with no memory, but with much of the necromantic energy he once had while walking among the living. He willfully joined with the other undead when he saw they had a common foe. Pugna enjoys the destruction he causes in the Defense of the Ancients. This burning skeleton greets everyone he meets with an unholy blast of energy straight from the netherworld itself. There are few tales of people surviving an encounter with the dota Oblivion heroe. Those who have tell stories with fearful eyees about his ability to devour their very life itself.

Pugna is the typical intelligence hero. He doesn't do much physical damage, all of his DPS potential comes from casting spells. He also plays a minor support role, and is extremely useful in a 1v1 battle. He can stay alive for a long period of time using his life drain skill to feed off foes.

Nether Blast: Pugna the Oblivion channels energy from the netherworld into his hands, releasing it over an area. This does damage to both other heroes and enemy buildings.

Decripify: One of the strangest spells of this dota character. Pugna turns someone ethereal, removing them from the physical plane. This effect is only very temporary. However, any magical damage they take is amplified, giving it great synergy with nether blast, a dagon energy burst, and his ultimate. Of course... don't expect other players you're with to be too happy if you kept them from being able to hit someone! The ghost scepter item has a similar effect when used.

Nether Ward: A totem is created where the hero is standing. Any of the oblivion's enemies who cast a spell nearby will feel the pain of any magical energies they spent casting it. This is similar to an automatic mana burn (like that of the Nerubian Assassin) to anyone within the ward area. It also reduces the mana regeneration of nearby enemy heroes. Don't let it be destroyed!

Life Drain: The dota Pugna character steals the life essence of a nearby foe. Deals a large amount of damage, and also regenerates it on himself. This effect is very potent if the enemy is unable to deal even more damage to this hero as quickly. Carrying the Scepter of Aghanim will give this spell no cooldown at all! Life drain also destroys any illusions in one hit, making it an excellent counter for Defense of the Ancients: Allstars heroes like Slithice.
