Dota: Nevermore

The shadow fiend was summoned by the Burning Legion to assist in the battle of the World Tree. However, instead of fighting with the rest of his supposed allies, he stood back and reveled watching the carnage. Nevermore is a shadow creature from another plane who is abhorred as a demon who can make the skin of anyone crawl. His powers have killed many, and unlike most death dealers, the Fiend's victims are not freed as their corpse falls. This hero carries within himself all the unlucky souls he has consumed and uses their forces for greater evil. Many flee or freeze in terror as he nears, knowing what grim fate lies await for them. However, a small few sentinel forces stand in his way. They know that the souls of everyone has has consumed will fall if the fiend is defeated in battle, granting them a peaceful afterlife.

Nevermore is an agility hero and a strong carry. His abilities are very devastating should he be allowed to live long enough by the dota sentinel forces. Many of his work best by surprise, and a Lothar's Edge (invisibility sword) is a popular item build on him.

Shadowraze: This scourge defender can channel darkness to any area around him. Does a large amount of damage to an AoE. Multiple versions of this skill are present at different ranges. They also have their own cooldowns and hotkeys, making it a devastating combo if you can unleash all of them on the same target.

Necromastery: The dota Nevermore hero gains the ability to store souls from enemies he kills inside of him. The shadow fiend adds their power to their attacks, doing much damage. Many of these souls are freed from his form should he died in battle.

Presence of the Dark Lord: Anyone near this hero is a bit terrified. They have somewhat less strength to resist any physical assaults.

Requiem of Souls: This character's most powerful Defense of the Ancients skill; an ultimate ability. Nevermore temporarily channels the energy of the spirits within them to their full potential. He unleashes their power in a large range, doing both damage and greatly impeding the movement anyone nearby. This makes him a dota hero worth fearing.
