Dota: Furion

By Volty

The prophet is the leader of all night elves residing on Kalimdor. He feels the land is never safe, and works tirelessly to protect the forest now that Cenarius (the former forest god) has fallen to the scourge. Furion gave up the mantle of the Keeper of the Grove to become their protector in his place, and gained newfound powers in the process which will prove to be of some use during the Defense of the Ancients. The fury of nature is at his disposal, and the trees will still rise as treants under his disposal. While he can no longer entangle creatures with their roots, he can transport himself anywhere the forest might need his help. His ability to sprout new trees which was originally to reconstruct areas used as lumber camps has proven to be of surprising effectiveness when pointed towards his enemies.

Prophet skills

Furion was one of the original heroes for the night elves in Warcraft 3. He, along with his beloved Mirana, helped defeat the Burning Legion at the battle of the World Tree, which marked the end of the Reign of Chaos. He no longer entangles creatures in the Defense of the Ancients, and lost his thorns ability, but some of his other newfound powers will prove to be of greater use.

Teleport: Furion can call the wind to take him elsewhere. The prophet can appear anywhere in the forest which he, or any of his allies, have previously explored. He wanders around before the beginning of the battle to scout out areas for future use.

Force of Nature: Calls up the trees to walk among the living. Several nearby turn into weak treants which can confuse and overwhelm enemies of the forest.

Sprout: Furion uses his energy to cause any seeds previously planted to grow out of the earth. They become trees surrounding an area, and physically impossible to pass without the ability to devour them. Unfortunately, the presence of the scourge has weakened this ability, and the newly born trees quickly wither and fall back into the earth.

Wrath of Nature: Wisps jump around at the prophet's command, everywhere in the forest at once. Any enemies of the sentinel will feel their power as they're compelled to strike at the unliving. These wisps congregate where there is the most creatures, having a much greater effect on them than any who might be isolated.
